Training Session on the UN CBD's Technical and Scientific Cooperation

At the core of this workshop was an introduction to the UN CBD's history, mechanisms, processes and challenges, particularly in the context of mobilising Central and Eastern European expertise and participation in the Convention's framework. The first day of the workshop focused on the negotiators’ perspective, while the second presented a researcher's perspective on the UN CBD, IPBES and the monitoring framework of the KM GBF, discussing challenges, barriers and incentives underpinning researcher/expert involvement.
