This workshop zeroed in on gathering knowledge needs related to selected SBSTTA-26 topics from EU member states and associated countries, while also discussing how to fill the identified knowledge gaps. The workshop also examined capacity needs, bringing together thematic elements related to the UN CBD, SBSTTA, the Cartagena Protocol's National Focal Points and marine and coastal biodiversity.
