A new CO-OP4CBD interview has been released on the heels of last year’s CO-OP4CBD training and networking session on the Clearing-House Mechanism and Technical and Scientific Cooperation (TSC) in the context of the UN CBD. The video features project partner Han de Koeijer (RBINS) with a deep-dive into the TSC mechanism and its associated Support Centres as they pave the way towards demand-driven cooperation and technology transfer among UN CBD Parties. 

The focus is more specifically on the purpose and scope of the European Subregional TSCC, which was launched in September 2025 and the launch of which was facilitated by IUCN-Med, the European Environment Agency (EEA) and RBINS. While outlining the role of TSCCs in consolidating expertise in support of the KM GBF targets , Han de Koeijer also highlights CO-OP4CBD’s role in this ongoing process.
