Recently, the CBD Women’s Caucus, the organisation advocating for and contributing to the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (UN CBD) in a gender-responsive manner, published a blog post on the CO-OP4CBD training in Paris, France. 

As the CBD Women’s Caucus members were actively involved in this training session both as presenters and trainees, this article focuses on the knowledge they exchanged on concrete tools, approaches and practical experiences for engaging in the UN CBD processes.

Moreover, this blog post highlights the training's strong emphasis on the “whole-of-society” approach, which seeks to build effective coordination between bottom-up community action and state-led processes.
